Nutritional Therapy

TIRED OF CHASING NUTRITION FADS AND GENERIC ADVICE?

There is an Ayurvedic proverb that reads, “When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use.  When diet is right, medicine is of no need.” I became a functional nutritional therapy practitioner (FNTP) because I believe that our bodies have an immense capacity for maintaining wellness. FNTPs are trained and certified through the Nutritional Therapy Association to assess nutritional needs, perform a functional clinical assessment, and make recommendations based on this comprehensive evaluation.  I can help you connect to your body’s internal wisdom, and adjust your diet and lifestyle accordingly. Whether you’re struggling with a bunch of symptoms and diagnoses and want support moving toward wellness, or you are a healthy individual and want to learn to optimize your health in order to live the fullest life you can, I am here to guide you.

Nutritional therapy is an investment in yourself, your future, and your family.  It requires time and energy to make the necessary changes that will have the greatest impact on your health.  The amount of time I work with my clients often depends on the results of their functional testing (testing recommendations vary client to client), but Nutritional Therapy packages start at 3 months.

If you’re interested in nutritional therapy, please fill out a client application. I will contact you within 3 business days of receiving your application and we will set up a free 20 minute discovery call.  The purpose of the call is for us to learn more about one another so that we can make an informed decision about whether or not to embark on this healing journey together. We’ll chat about your goals and my approach to working with clients.  I will also open up time for any questions you have at that time.

What Clients Are Saying

“After working with Amanda, I can tell my gut is happier and healthier--which has led to more energy, less fatigue, better sleep, WAY less anxiety, and (most importantly for me) stabilization of my blood pressure”

— Kelsey

“I've benefited mentally the most from my time with Amanda. I used to have a deficit mindset when it comes to food, nutrition, and health and since learning from her I've felt a natural shift into a more nourishing and gentle mindset. I feel more educated on how to find solutions for me and the strength to make small changes that will benefit my overall goals of staying healthy for my family.”

— Terressa

“What I like most about Amanda's approach is it’s very holistic. She related the foods I was eating to how it was going to help my body and mind function throughout the day. She explained the effects poor and proper nutrition has on my body as a whole. For example, I never thought about how proper nutrition could help alleviate allergies (seasonal, bug bites) or how it could help with how a person tolerates the sun and heat. Knowing this helps to keep me motivated to correctly feed my body.”
