Functional Nutrition Therapy Practitioner
Amanda Couturier
Hi! I’m Amanda. I am so glad you found your way here!
I can give you the tools you need to feel great everyday.
I believe that inside all of us is an innate intelligence that guides us toward health, fulfillment, and satisfaction. By teaching you how to connect to this internal wisdom, I can help you live a more authentic and healthy life.
I’m the woman who has spent years feeling like her body was betraying her. Despite doing all the things (read: over exercising and caloric restriction), my body just would not do what I wanted. It is honestly such a burden to live like that, and I understand the frustration of being in that place.
In my mid 20s I embarked on a journey to figure out what it really meant to be healthy. I learned how to listen to my body and honor what it was saying instead of tuning out the messages in favor of my own agenda. And that is when I found real freedom.
As a practitioner, my goal is to be the person that I wish had been there to help me on this journey. I did SO MUCH hodge podge work on my own before I even decided to get trained in functional nutrition. I am so excited to teach you to understand what your body is saying and WHY it is doing what it’s doing, and then help you address it through nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle changes, and mindset shifts. I am also here encourage self acceptance and self compassion. You are enough. Your body is not broken. And you are worthy of learning how to care for yourself in a world that tells you that your needs come after everyone else’s. Let’s get started, shall we?
